What to bring?

When you come to pick up your puppy you will need to bring a few things.

  • Collar and leash

  • Blanket for holding puppy in car or crate

  • Doggy Bags

  • Cleaning supplies ( baby wipes, paper towels, cleaning spray)

For those who have a long car ride

  • Crate

  • Toys to keep your pup occupied

  • Food and Water Bowls

  • Dog Bed (optional)

  Tips

When traveling with your poodle puppy, having someone hold them in the car is a great way to keep them calm. Remember, poodles tend to bond with the person who spends the most time with them, so being nearby is key. If holding isn't an option, position their crate as close to you as possible for reassurance. Check to make sure your crate won’t slide! Equip your puppy with chew toys and a plushie to keep them entertained on the trip. If you choose to play music, keep it at a low volume to keep your puppy calm and comfortable since they have sensitive ears that pick up on the smallest sound.
